Food is amongst the three basic requirements of human beings for sustaining life. Food is a more powerful medicine than any other weight loosing pills because it can make you either fat or thin. One doesn’t get fat because of eating a lot but gets fat because of eating the wrong food at the wrong time. Your health depends a lot upon the type of food you take and schedule in which you eat, your body is like a machine and so it requires a good fuel at a proper time.

Eating nothing or fasting may not make you slim, but eating thrice a day will for sure get you a slim trim figure. What actually matters is eating healthy food, in a proper amount, with a good mind and at appropriate time. All of us need some extra botheration, help and motivation on our diet, so that we can mend it in the right way. One should start maintaining a diet diary, where everything you ate and how it felt should be recorded so that you can yourself evaluate your foods.

This will tell you about your temptations, your feelings while eating and the various impacts of them on your body and health. You will be yourself prompted to stop munching snacks and fatty foods.

Do not be too strict with your diets:

More important fact is that, a diet that promotes eating less portion of food or avoids you from eating too many things may not be a great solution in a long term view. It is always preferable to take into account a diet that takes care of your likes and dislikes and also includes a good combination of food which is much easier to maintain and provides you with all the nutrients and necessary calories.

Dieting tips are always temporary instead we should plan and opt for such strategies, which could be our habit in the long run. It took you so many years to put on those extra loads of weight and so, you won’t be able to shed it off overnight.

Keep some cut raw vegetables in the refrigerator. Eat a few pieces half an hour before you sit down to lunch or dinner to cut your appetite. Choosing diet tips that suits you is the important factor when you want to lose weight.

Don’t eat more than four meals per day and also don’t take snacks in between meals. Avoid eating after 7 pm and eating while watching T.V or when you are upset. Try not to store the wrong foodstuffs in the house. Don’t eat in huge amounts and in a hurry, be active always. Decrease the consumption of fat, sugar and starches and Increase the consumption of vegetables, fish and cheese. Drink plenty of water even sometimes-warm water and green tea is very good. Have a plenty of grapefruit. Avoid the use of salt and season your food with chives, herbs, mushrooms, peppers, vinegar, tomatoes and lemon juice. Avoid coffee and tea. You can have a glass of milk before going to bed.

Secret dieting tips?

I joined a contest kinda like “The Biggest Loser” through a fitness club.
I am 29 and have over 100 lbs to lose. I have not done any significant physical activity for a couple years.
I am going into the 2nd week of the contest. I lost 6 lbs the first week.
I have cut my caloric intake to about 1000 a day and I am working out 5 times a week (cardio and some weight training).
Does anyone have any tips to quick weight loss?
Are there certain foods to stay away from that are not as well known? (obviously, not sweets, low carbs, low sodium, no sugar soda). I was thinking about trying the cabbage soup diet one week (the contest is 8 weeks long).
I plan on this being the ‘kick-start” to my weight loss. I will be joining weight watchers after the contest is over.
Can you drink too much water? And what should my heart rate get up to when doing cardio to maximize the fat burning.
Diet soda or no diet soda?

This is the Pearson Diet

Week one
Day one. Breakfast…. Glass of milk, Banana and a Apple.(apple is neg 50 cal. so eat as many through out the day as you can

Lunch. 2 glasses of water green beans. and an Orange ( dont eat corn at all.Theres enough corn in everything you eat look on the lables of you food corn syrup is in everything and its really not that good for you)

Dinner Chicken noodle soup,and 1 glass of OJ. Stay away from eating anything after 7pm

Snacks should be dryed fruit if possible.

Day 2 Breakfast 2 poptarts 1 glass of milk

Lunch. A Salad no lettice cucumbers carrots cabbage ect. 2 glasses of water.

Dinner Kiwi, Watermelon and a banana 2 glasses of water.

Day 3-7 Breakfast Chereos

Lunch Cabbage soup As much as you want eat as much fruit as you would like but no bananas. Drink Cranberry Juice.
Dinner Cabbage soup 4 glasses of water

Day 8. Breakfast. Strawberrys and bananas in milk eat as a cereal or as a drink in a blender. Both are good.

Lunch 1 Steak and a potato 3 Glasses of water

Dinner. a Fruit salad 2 glasses of water.

Day 9-11 Breakfast Apples dipped in plain yogurt. and a glass of Milk.

Lunch Cabbage soup. Water as much as you can drink.

Dinner.Cabbage soup 4 strawberrys and a glass of milk in a blender . As much fruit as you want no bananas.

Day 12-14 Breakfast Granola bar and a poptart. as much fruit as you can eat. cranberry juice.

Lunch Plain yogurt. water, Any green veg. and any fruit you want your choice, even a banana.

Dinner Cabbage soup.

Day 1,3,6,,8,11,14 Run 2 miles.
Day 2,5,13 Do 50 push ups and 50 sit ups
Day 4,7,9,10,12 Go to the gym and work upper body on the even number days and lower body on the odd days
